Flap grinding heads, or as they are commonly called, grinding wheels for drills, are used for cleaning rust and dirt, removing various old coatings and grinding surfaces of any configuration.

Grinding wheels (heads) consist of radially arranged abrasive abrasive flaps attached to a steel shank. For home use, the head is attached to a drill using this shank. This is where these heads get their name, "drill wheels." The most common shank diameters are 3, 6, and 8 mm, but some heads also feature a threaded sleeve or screw for a replaceable shank, which can be of various lengths.

Drill grinding heads come in a variety of sizes, grit sizes, abrasive material types, and blade density, allowing you to select the right tool for processing any material and working in hard-to-reach areas.

During operation, grinding wheels do not produce loud noise and have a long service life due to the large number of flaps.
